Crab Grass in the End Zone isn't the only Weed Problem in the NFL

In 2012 Washington and Colorado legalized the possession of up to one ounce of recreational marijuana for people 21 and older, despite it still being illegal under federal law and since then both teams remain unbeaten while playing on their home fields.


The NFL is not as forgiving as the Evergreen State and the Seattle Seahawks (11-1) are facing the loss of two of their top three cornerbacks, suspended for repeated violations of The League’s drug abuse policy and marijuana is the culprit.


The news shocked Seahawks coach Pete Carroll but as he looks back on it, he says there were signs.


According to information from NFL Insider, Coach Carroll noticed behavior changes such as "vetoing motivational films "Patton" and "Rudy" for the team flights, Seahawks players insisted on "Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle" and "Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay."
